Sumeera is a Writer, DJ, and Model based in Los Angeles.

Grounded in her Pakistani-Muslim heritage and inspired by her home state of California, Sumeera writes about lifestyle and culture through the lens of identity, community, wellness, and craft. Forever a student, she loves to interview and profile people who are pushing the mold to archive their stories and impact. Her multi-disciplinary work can be found within: VOGUE, Nike, NAACP x Disney, Highsnobiety, HYPEBAE, NTS Radio, Office Magazine, SF Chronicle, and more. 

She just recently held a residency on NTS Radio hosting her live show, Sun-Kissed. Earlier this year, her coverage of South Asian musical genres and talent on the Coachella 2023 lineup for VOGUE India was featured in the festival’s official documentary, Ascending (Goldenvoice, 2024)—— cementing Sumeera as a trusted voice in music and culture.

Sumeera graduated with a Writing MFA from the University of San Francisco + BA from the University of California, Riverside.
